Plantar Fasciitis due to Everted Rearfoot

The orthosis for plantar fasciitis due to an everted rearfoot is designed to plantarflex the first ray which brings the first metatarsal head closer to the calcaneus reducing plantar fascia tension. It also limits eversion of the heel.

The Plantar Fasciitis device due to everted rearfoot has a milled polypropylene shell with the following prescription:

  • Heel cup – 18mm
  • Width – wide
  • Cast fill – minimum
  • Medial heel skive – 4mm
  • Rearfoot post material – polypropylene
  • Rearfoot post motion – 0/0
  • Topcover – EVA to toes
