This orthosis designed to treat Achilles Tendinitis limits heel eversion to minimize internal rotation of the tendon, and decrease tension on the tendon.
The Achilles Tendinitis device has a milled polypropylene shell with the following prescription:
- Heel cup – 14mm
- Width – wide
- Cast fill – standard
- Medial heel skive – 4mm
- Rearfoot post material – polypropylene
- Rearfoot post motion – 0/0
- Topcover – black EVA to toes
- Heel lift – 3mm
