ProLab uses two forming methods to produce our custom orthoses. For each type of orthoses, we select the method that will ensure maximum durability and the best clinical response.

Our classic production method is a ProLab exclusive technique which precisely forms polypropylene over the positive mold. This vacuum-forming method ensures an exacting fit, long life, and allows the widest variety of orthotic modifications.

    • Opportunity to use advanced techniques, such as:

            - medial heel skive

            - inversion from 1° to 10° with CAD/CAM correction

            - inversion greater than 10° with plaster correction

            - intrinsic accommodations, including plantar fascial grooves and sweet spots

    • Polypropylene shell guaranteed for the functional life of the device against breakage
