The ProLab Functional AFO is a custom, articulated ankle-foot orthosis that combines a custom-balanced foot orthosis with semirigid uprights. This polypropylene device is the only modality that simultaneously controls the ankle joint, subtalar joint, and midtarsal joint.
ProLab’s advanced castwork provides optimal foot plate control and our three hinge options provide the following ankle motion control:
- Functional Flex Hinge (full sagittal plane motion)
- Fixed Hinge (no sagittal plane motion)
- Dorsiflexion Assist (for drop foot)
