Matrix and Matrix Max Prefab AFO

ProLab is offering clients with another treatment option for non-spastic dropfoot, the Matrix and Matrix Max Prefab AFO. The unique design allows graded movement at and around the ankle area, and improves the patient's gait. Both models are highly customizable and include:

• Height-adjustable and heat-moldable anterior shell

• Elongated lateral strut

• Grindable footplate

• Two washable pads

The Matrix is made of a lightweight composite of dynamic carbon and glass fiber. The Matrix Max, constructed with rigid carbon and glass fiber, is suitable for patients with a higher activity level or patients weighing more that 250 pounds. Both AFOs can be used with either P³ Functional Prefab foot orthoses or custom foot orthoses.
