Prefabricated Functional Foot Orthoses
Functional prefabs can be used as a
cost-effective diagnostic tool to
replace low-Dye strapping or predict
mechanical treatment efficacy. They can
also be used as in interim device to
ensure continuous orthotic therapy while
a custom device is being fabricated.
Some patients may not be able to afford
a custom device. For these patients, a
functional prefab may be the best,
affordable option for symptom relief.
To meet patient needs, there is more
