Prefabricated Functional Foot Orthoses

Functional prefabs can be used as a cost-effective diagnostic tool to replace low-Dye strapping or predict mechanical treatment efficacy. They can also be used as in interim device to ensure continuous orthotic therapy while a custom device is being fabricated. Some patients may not be able to afford a custom device. For these patients, a functional prefab may be the best, affordable option for symptom relief.

To meet patient needs, there is more than one type of functional prefab. ProLab has several types of functional prefabs, including: P3 Posted prefabs, the P3 Sport with a high-rebound EVA topcover, and the P3 Low-Impact with a plastazote topcover padded with poron. Visit our website at www.prolaborthotics.com/prefabs.htm for details on all of our functional prefabs.
