Last week’s E-Journal Club reviewed a study demonstrating that symptomatic hallux limitus (less than 10° of dorsiflexion but greater than 0°) responds positively to conservative care. In fact, functional orthoses alone successfully treated 47% of all the patients in the study (with minimum one year follow-up).
